How to play Bubble Shooter

Try Bubble Shooter at your own pace and keep its objective in view. Clear the hanging bubbles before they reach the lower boundary. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Read the objective before making your first input. Look at what changes after your first action.

Original hexagonal matching board and bouncing projectiles.

Read before acting

Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use. Keep the objective visible.

Your goal

Clear the hanging bubbles before they reach the lower boundary. Read that aim before choosing your first action. Keep the controls in easy reach.

Step by step

  1. Aim and fire.
  2. Attach bubbles to the cluster.
  3. Groups of three or more equal colours disappear.
  4. Floating groups drop; five misses lower the ceiling.

Controls

Pointer/touch aim, angle controls and Fire. Read a button’s label before selecting it. A new-round button replaces the current round.

A useful example

Removing one support can drop a larger mixed-colour group below it. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Keep the controls nearby.

Watch out for this

Contact with a different colour is not a match. Compare the situation with the worked example. Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal.
